I Got My Blue Shirt!
Well, I turned in my schedule for being an usher at the church this morning and got my official blue usher shirt. They said I could start next weekend, so that should be quite an exciting new adventure. According to the team manual I got, an usher is supposed to be the hands, face, and heart of the church service. It is our responsibility to make people feel welcome and comfortable in our church family. Seems to me like yet another excellent opportunity to "make everything glorious" by extending God's love and compassion to all the newcomers at our church. I am very excited to embark on this new ministry endeavor!

Thats so cool, how does it look on you? (do you think they would object if you added a superman bit to the front?)
It looks pretty cool on me I guess. I'll have to see about the whole Superman thing, though I'm sure that they won't object to me wearing it under my shirt, so I could still do the whole shirt ripping open thing.
